Land Trusts



Attorney Ainsworth has dedicated his career to management of environmental, conservation and land resources. An avid outdoorsman, he served on the national leadership council of Trout Unlimited, is a life member of the Madison Land Conservation Trust and a member of the Connecticut Land Conservation Council where he is known as the creator of Land Trust Law School. Keith is a friend and advisor to numerous businesses and non-profit organizations including land trusts.



CANNABIS, Hemp, CBD



Connecticut legalized the possession, use, cultivation and sale of cannabis products in 2021 adding to a decade of palliative and medical use of marijuana under Conn.Gen.Stat. sec. 21a-408.

This office can assist you in complying with the regulatory and legal framework relating to cannabidiol (CBD), hemp production and marijuana.



Local Counsel



Our offices are conveniently located on the I-95 and I-91 corridors, a short drive to the courts and agencies in Hartford, Stamford, Waterbury, New Britain, New London, Middletown, and walking distance to the courts in New Haven.

Attorney Ainsworth serves as local counsel on behalf of parties who need to file suit or find themselves sued in Connecticut. This office can assist in prosecuting and defending a variety of cases including commercial claims, torts and statutory claims.



TELECOMMUNICATIONS



Next Gen, 5G, small cell, macro cells, cell towers - there are many names for the varied technologies being deployed throughout the country. The Connecticut Siting Council governs the siting of these technologies along with energy production facilities, gas, solar, wind and other utilities. Attorney Ainsworth has been appearing before the Siting Council and assisting communities grappling with the question of how best to manage the roll-out of these technologies.



Litigation



Attorney Ainsworth began his career as an outside litigation attorney for a major insurance carrier, later establishing a broad boutique practice in commercial, environmental, conservation, zoning, land use, easements and private statutory enforcement. This office provides affordable and effective representation in all trial and appellate courts of Connecticut including the United States District Court and federal courts of appeal.
