Keith Ainsworth (keithrainsworth@live.com) has been providing cost-effective legal services to businesses and individuals as local counsel and primary counsel in courts from Stamford to Waterbury, New London to New Haven, Hartford to Bridgeport from centrally-located New Haven.
Keith began his career as an insurance defense litigator at Gager & Henry in Waterbury, and joined Evans, Feldman & Ainsworth in New Haven where he built an environmental and land use and commercial litigation boutique practice. In 2015 Keith set out as a solo practice embedded in and as Of Counsel to Cooper, Whitney & Francois one of New Haven's oldest environmental practices. Today, his practice is one the most-respected conservation practices in the state.
Keith is currently acting Chair of the Connecticut Council on Environmental Quality and is a past chair of the Environmental Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association.
Representing a broad array of clients across the spectrum of litigation matters, Keith is known for representing land trusts, non-profits and other conservation-minded entities in addition to a traditional stable of clientele.
